NXLEVEL IS BACK!

NXLevel Competition is providing a once in a lifetime opportunity to one talented Midlands based Artist to hit the big time with promotional prize package worth £5000!

NXLevel is a music talent competition with difference; it aims to inspire young musicians to develop their skills and career in the music business. NxLevel will be touring the Midlands and aims to find the best local, musical talent across all genres of music.One young musician will get the chance to win a grand promotional prize to help boost their career to a national level. The prize consists of recording studio time, photo shoots, headline shows, a professional music video and a cash prize of £500.

Previous Winners:

Last year’s winner; Curtis Claceyhas been recording new material in the HQ studio and has already started performing at city-wide events including the DMC Championships. Runner up Mark Elliott wowed judges in the competition and has completed a new EP with Sony music producer Marcus James.  NxLevel 2012 finalist Izzy Marie Hill has had numerous meetings with record labels such as Sony Records.  She has also been featured on national radio station Radio 1 and has performed on the BBC Introducing stage at this year’s Glastonbury Festival.

Auditions:

NxLevel will be kicking off the first round of auditions in October and whittling talent down to the final 20 in the New Year. The finalist’s will attend a series of workshops which will arm them with business skills required to be successful managers of their musical careers.  The final few chosen will be part of the live judging shows with the final being held at the O2 in Leicester.  All of this will be filmed for the online show ‘NxLevel TV’ which has over 100,000 hits.

This year, NxLevel wants to inspire even more young people with the offer of work experience behind the scenes on NxLevel TV. From being a stage hand to choreographer, the NxLevel team are looking for young volunteers looking to gain experience in media and events to help run the online shows.
